Well we are officially out of our house now. The last of the unwanted items have been hauled away. For the time being we are parked in our friends back yard because we plan to hang out around town for a few more weeks while Jason is finishing out his job. It feels great to be past that first hurtle, but there is still so much to do before we take off for good! The trailer is coming along nicely and we have been living in her for several weeks now. We still have some leaky faucets to figure out and still no tub, but most camp sites have showers these days...It's and adventure for sure!

Well we are officially living in the trailer! I would say we are 95% moved in. There is still a ton of work to be done for one we have not even started the bathroom yet, but it feels like a major accomplishment.
So there she is. Like I said there is still a ton to do, but we have a couple more weeks until this is perminate. We do not have to be out of the house until the end of September. The house is also coming along. We have gotten rid of the majority of stuff thee are a few pieces of furniture left and several odds and ends, but we are getting there for sure.

This past weekend we took the trailer out for her maiden voyage. We took her to Coludview EcoFarms they were hosting their annual Abun-dance party. We met the guys from Cloudview at the Roslyn Farmer's Market where they set up each week, and when they told us about their annual party we knew that it would be the perfect excuse to give our new home a try. Our good friend Mary was traveling through and agreed to meet us out there as well. We had an amazing time with great food, music and people. We took our time getting there and took in some sights along the way. It was such a fun trip. I can not wait until trips like this are our norm! We got lots of great photos to experiment with so be on the lookout for some new prints coming to the shop soon!

My Dad has been visiting us for the last two weeks and we were able to set aside all the work to have a little fun as well! We took two short trips. The first one was a canoe/kayak trip down the Cle Elum River. It was out in the desert area of Washington about 45 min to our East.
The other trip was a camping trip to the rain forest side at Lake Tucquala also around 30-45 min from us in Roslyn WA. It was amazing how different yet equally beautiful these two places could be. It was also amazing how quickly the climate/landscape changes from desert to rain forest! We had a grand time on both trips!
